This song is about a girl who never took her life for granted.  This is a girl who fought to live.  There is a line in this song that speaks to me. 

The line talks about looking out the window of the hospital room thinking of when she'll go home ... or something to that effect.  I know this feeling very well.

Listen, no matter how bad off you are, your life is a gift that should not be wasted.
